If you look to your right, you'll see the latest of my geniusness - my Track of the Week. So many of you have written in wanting to experience the musicality that is Mathdude, and I will not steer you wrong!

This week's track, while not on my pick for Best Album of 2007 (BRMC's Baby 81), is a great song from their previous album, the "unplugged" Howl. Click here.

his week's Track of the Week is my favorite David Garza song, Sylvia, from Strange Bunch of Flowers. Enjoy.

You know this one. BP liked it so much, they had Message of the Blues rewrite the lyrics using "Say Hey" instead of "LA". That's right this is the catchy "Say Hey" song on the BP commercials!

This week's Track of the Week is the greatest, and there can be no argument, heavy metal song of all time. It's Gary Moore's Devil in Her Heart. It's got everything: a tremendous "sound", an awesome guitar solo, and lots of screaming. I believe that Gary is doing the vocals on this as well. Enjoy!

This week's Tracks of the Week are 2 live remakes ala Hendrix by Jack White who I consider to be today's Jimi Hendrix. The first is Bang Bang You Shot Me Down played by the Raconteurs on Austin City Limits. The second is Jolene by the White Stripes in Berlin. Enjoy!

This week's Tracks of the Week are Rock 'n' Roll by the Plasmatics and Bump and Grind by Wendy O. Williams.

And now for something completely different, this week's Tracks of the Week are dedicated to #4 of 5 sister Lisa who many of you remember had a large cancerous tumor removed from her colon about a month ago. Thursday is her birthday*. The first track is the Hollies Long Cool Woman in a Black Dress, a true classic. This is one of Lisa's favorite songs, reminding her of those days in college spent in the Partridge Pub and having it blast over the jukebox. One of Lisa's work-study jobs in college was working in the College of St. Rose's ID card department. Let's just say, her typing in the correct year on those IDs was not her strong suit. Care to comment here Coolmomma? Anywho, I've also included this week two other happy songs. I don't know if you like them or not Lisa, but they are worth checking out. They are the Talking Head's Road to Nowhere, and the Apples in Stereo's Energy. Enjoy!

Every so often, I hear something that blows me away. It happened when I heard Van Halen's Running with the Devil the first time. Same thing with GNR's Sweet Child of Mine and Joe Satriani's Big Bad Moon. It also happened when I heard this song this past week - Endeverafter's Baby Baby Baby. Great stuff if you're into heavy metal. Also on the Tracks of the Week are two new ones by Black Rebel Motorcycle Club from the American X album, the follow up EP to Baby 81 (only the best release in '07). From seeing them in October with Tony Alva, I just don't get how musically these guys are the baddest of the bad and the coolest of the cool, but live, they stand there and play their songs and not much else. Anywho, the songs are Whenever You're Ready and MK Ultra. Enjoy!

This week's Tracks of the Week are Blonde Redhead's 23, Spring And By Summer Fall, and Silently. Enjoy!

Hey, love your blog! Thanks for the song by The Uninvited...I've been looking for their tune "Ordinary Man" from the same album. Any help at all is appreciated.
