Yes, ultimately it was a disappointment, but having the lead late in the game was truly amazing. My dad called right after we took the lead and said that we scored too quickly. If we scored before halftime instead of getting scored on, we win. Whatever. My pulse was at about 8,000 beat per minute until Pittsburgh scored the winning score.
I think we're seeing only the beginning of something amazing with the Cards. Now let's sign Boldin for as much as we signed Fitzgerald. The Bidwell ownership in the past has been the model of stinginess in letting good players walk resulting in teams that year after year that can't out of the quicksand of losing. Now Billy Bidwell is too old to be in charge - THANK GOD!! The team is way, way under the salary cap. Let's hope Bidwell's son sees the light. Long live the Cardinals!!!

Amazing game. I think I had 2 heartattacks, but I've recovered.
Your boys gave us one hell of a fight. Regardless of regular season records, Cinderella stories, and all the other bullshit, they absolutely deserved to be in the Super Bowl. One of the best games I've seen.
Obviously, I'm elated that the Steelers won, but now we get to be the most hated team in the league because of those 6 rings. Ah well, I can take a little hate. :)
I had 2 heart attacks as well - the 2 lead changes at the end, although the writing was on the wall on that last drive because we never put you into a do-or-die situation, like a 4th down. Oh well, it was icing on the cake for me. Congrats. I'm satisfied that all the stupid bullshit about how the Cardinals would never, ever, I mean ever, ever, ever, ever be able to move the ball on the NFL's best defense proved to be wrong.
I've been telling you that the Cardinals were going to lose. I guess it's something you had to see for yourself.
At least you still have that cool t-shirt design.
The best part is that I rooted for Ariz with my heart, but bet on the Steelers -7. So I lost twice.
Great game, great game. When Arizona took the lead I was dancing round the room, though the first thought in my head was "Holy crap, Mathdude must have jumped through the roof!"
