Two words for ya: Grand Magus.
If you're looking for something that's part Black Sabbath (their self-titled first album), part early Iron Maiden, and part Metallica, maybe with a little Motorhead sprinkled in there, Grand Magus is what you want. It's good, hearty, bass-y heavy metal, filled with as much testosterone as you can handle.
Interested? Here's the opening track: Like The Oar Strikes the Water. I guarentee you double your money back that you'll like it! And if you don't, Google "Spandeau Ballet". They're probably more your speed anyways.
MORE ON GRAND MAGUS
There's 3 other exceptional songs besides the one above I've made available for you. The title track Iron Will is one, and the last two tracks, Beyond Good And Evil, and I Am The North. The ending of I Am The North gives me goosebumps like the ending of Tears For Fears' Shout does, although, I don't understand the 3 minutes of silence after the false ending followed by a 1 minute instrumental. Why do bands do this? The rest of the album is also very good and very listenable if you're into this type of music.
